MATHEW HARRINGTON
Mathew is an experienced clinical psychologist who works mostly with adolescents and adults. Mathew completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology and works collaboratively with clients to support them in achieving their goals. Mathew sees people with a range of presentations including anxiety, trauma, depression, and emotional and behavioural dysregulation.
Mathew is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Clinical College of Psychology.
FEES AND REFERRALS
FEES
Brownington offers psychology (therapy) sessions. A standard session is approximately 50-60 minutes long, and most clients attend 6 - 10 sessions, depending on their specific needs.
Sessions are from $230, and the majority of our clients receive a $145.25 Medicare rebate, making the out-of-pocket cost $84.75 per session. To receive the Medicare rebate, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is required.
A GP can provide a MHCP for a range of presentations. This provides the Medicare rebate for up to 10 session per calendar year (Jan-Dec). Private health care rebates may also be available. Please check with your health fund.
We are a registered QLD/NSW Workcover provider, and see QPS self refer and DVA clients at no charge to the client.
